PathRank was built for iPhone Duo because the two things PathRank does have always needed two displays. You give it your input, by voice, by pasting, or with your team on a live call. It gives you back a prioritized plan with real deadlines, and a Command Center that shows what matters now. On every other iPhone those two halves take turns on one screen. On iPhone Duo they happen side by side, at the same time, for the first time.
iPhone Duo goes on sale October 23, 2026, and Apple describes its inner display as 50 percent larger than iPhone 18 Pro Max, with an outer display close to the size of iPhone 18 Pro (Apple). PathRank is built for both. The iPhone Duo version is on its way to the App Store; the phone app is live today on iOS and Android.
What iPhone Duo and PathRank do together that no phone has done before
Watch your plan build while you talk. Start a Solo Session and speak the way you would to a colleague. On the inner display the session runs on one side while the Path Workflow assembles on the other, task by task, as the words land. A sentence about a deadline becomes a dated Ready Task in front of you. You have never been able to see your own thinking turn into a plan in real time, because there was never room for both at once.
A live Teams Session with every stakeholder’s tasks beside the call. Scan a QR code and your team joins. As the meeting runs, each person’s specific tasks appear on the other half of the display, in real time, during the call. Nobody writes minutes afterward and nobody asks who owns what.
The Command Center with room to breathe. The Command Center exists to put the right next action in front of you, surface the conflicts it has discovered, and let you control every feature from one place. Opened on the inner display, its timeline and comparative visuals get the space they were designed for, and the task you should do first is impossible to miss.
Close it and nothing moves. The outer display is the PathRank you already know: brain dump, the next Ready Task, check it off. The navigation strip sits in the same place closed and open, so your hands learn it once. Open the phone and Home keeps scrolling on the right half; whatever you open from it appears on the left.
Accountability on a display that can hold it. The Streak Strip, the celebrations and relics when you finish Ready Tasks, the Streak Calendar, State of Play and your personalized Weekly Report. On the inner display a week of your work fits in one view.
Why it was built this way
PathRank is not a to-do list. It takes the most challenging schedules and simplifies them: input in whatever form you have it, a bespoke workflow with no filler and calendar integration, and context without learning any taxonomy. Each of those steps gives you more when you can see it next to the one before it. A plan is easier to trust when you watched it get built. A deadline is easier to keep when it sits beside the conversation that created it.
Apple lists Split View multitasking, StandBy and the standing and seated poses on its own page (Apple). PathRank’s sessions run in every one of those positions: stand the phone on the desk during a meeting and the session keeps transcribing while the plan builds beside it.
PathRank is built by one developer in Flutter, which has no built-in foldable support on iOS. The adaptive layer was written by hand against Apple’s published dimensions, one codebase for the phone, the outer display and the inner display, so the Duo version is the same app with more room, not a second product.
